whole lot. Conor still prefers sleeping in the day and not at night. That combined with his
voracious appetite, Kelly has not been able to get in too much sleep.
We have been to the pediatrician and Conor seems to be progressing well. He weighs almost 12
pounds now, and has developed some of the new born acne which is actually a good sign. His neck is
getting stronger so he holds his head up and is starting to gaze a little more intently at the
person holding him.
The big concern we had was how our dog "Dude" would do with Conor. Dude at first was very
tenative and shy about who the new addition was, but now he sleeps next to the bouncy seat that
Conor sleeps in during the day, and rushes into the babies room when he cries during diaper
changes. Hopefully this continues. Chesapeake bay retrievers as a breed are good with kids, so
we have that going for us.
